About Peter Italiano PHOTOGRAPHY

Based at the historic Cigar Factory in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Peter Italiano is a professional photographer known for his striking fine art portraiture and creative vision.

Peter began his academic journey studying Art History at the College of Staten Island. He went on to refine his technical skills and artistic approach at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, majoring in Photography and Imaging, as well as the prestigious International Center of Photography in New York City.

His photography career began in high school, capturing the raw energy of live concerts and events. However, it was during his time at NYU that Peter discovered his true passion for studio photography. Once established in the studio environment, he quickly transitioned into the fashion world—shooting editorials, lookbooks, and advertising campaigns for various designers, including the then-emerging Isaac Mizrahi. He also served as the lead photographer for the New Faces Division of Elite Models in NYC.

Peter is also widely recognized for his exceptional product photography, particularly in the jewelry industry. For years, he has collaborated with both major brands and independent designers, producing high-quality imagery for catalogs, advertisements, and e-commerce platforms.

His work has been published extensively in leading magazines such as Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, New York Magazine, Cosmopolitan, W Magazine, National Jeweler, InStore, and many others.

Peter’s portraiture has evolved into a platform for creating digital and mixed media art. These innovative works, derived from his original photographs, have been exhibited in a variety of galleries and art spaces, including the State Theatre Gallery (Easton), Gallery at the Luckenbach Mill (Bethlehem), Bethlehem City Center Rotunda, Botanica Grove Gallery (Brooklyn), and a 60-piece solo exhibition at the Gallery at the Americus Hotel.
